Biographical note:
Lara V. Marcuse, MD, is co-director of the Mount Sinai Epilepsy Program and is an Assistant Professor of Neurology. Dr. Marcuse joined the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2009. She is board certified in neurology and neurophysiology. Dr. Marcuse received her BA in mathematics and neurobiology from Cornell University and her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In medical school, she received the Daniel Mann Award for her outstanding service to underserved communities. She did her medical internship, neurology residency, and neurophysiology fellowship at the NYU-Langone Medical Center. She served as chief resident for neurology in her final year of residency. Madeline Fields, MD, is a Co-Director of the Mount Sinai Epilepsy Program and is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Fields” primary clinical focus is the medical and surgical management of epilepsy patients, including diet and complementary therapies. Her other areas of interest are conditions where epilepsy is a frequent complication including autism, dementia, and psychiatric conditions Ji Yeoun (Jenna) Yoo, MD is an assistant professor of Neurology at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
