John Midas is a financial genius. For years he”s made a killing on the stock market. He”s one of the richest men on earth – and on Wall Street, he”s a legend. The only thing he loves more than money is his daughter, who lives a simple life away from his gold-plated world. Now Midas has his eye set on Brazil and its currency-but fate may not let him pull off his scheme without extracting a steep price.
Biographical note:
Alcante won a Spirou magazine script-writing competition in 1995. Since 2002, his short comics have been published regularly in Spirou.Pandora”s BoxA” is his first series. He is inspired by fairy tales and legends from all over the world, and his influences range from Jean Van Hamme to Alan Moore. Erik Juszezak began as a commercial artist and illustrator for various publishing companies before moving on to the field of comics, withOkiA” in 1998 andNarvaloA” in 2005. In the latter year, Alcante and the Dupuis publishing company asked him to illustrate a volume of thePandora”s BoxA” series.
